Cambodia

My journey through Cambodia began with a border crossing from Laos, before taking a bus to my first stop: Siem Reap and the iconic temples of Angkor Wat. From Siem Reap, I ventured to Kampong Phluk, a floating village on stilts, and then onto the vast waters of Tonle Sap. Life on the water was fascinating with boats serving as homes and markets.

Kaoh Trang was a highlight, where I had the chance to kayak alongside river dolphins. Their playful energy in the fast flowing river made it an unforgettable experience. Phnom Penh offered a deeper dive into Cambodia’s history and a chance to explore its bustling streets.

The coastal towns of Kep and Kampot were a welcome change of pace, with their laid-back vibes and incredible seafood. From Kep’s famous crab market to the colonial charm of Kampot, every corner had something unique to offer. A trip up to Bokor added a touch of mystery, with its misty landscapes and eerie, abandoned structures.

Cambodia was a place of incredible diversity - ancient temples, floating villages, wildlife encounters, and vibrant cities.
